PERFECT KNOWLEDGE
“I openly confess to You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You hide
things from sophists and intellectuals and reveal them to babies. Yes, Father,
because to do it this way is by your good will. Everything has been given me by
my Father. No one perfectly knows the Son but the Father. Nor does anyone know
the Father perfectly but the Son; and whom ever the Son wishes to unveil Him.”
[Matthew 11:25-27 NCMM]
The Nazarene Master declares that only the Father and the Son know one another
perfectly. Had Jesus been a Trinitarian he could not have made this statement,
for also the Holy Ghost would have known the other two perfectly. Christ says he
is willing to reveal this perfect or accurate knowledge regarding the Father to
those spiritual babes among his disciples, but not to the Holy Ghost.
